Mobile & web developer in Saarbrücken

Hi, I'm Zaid Jarrar.

I turn ideas into polished mobile and web products: native Android with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, cross-platform with Flutter, and full-stack web with React and Next.js. I like building software that feels fast, stays intuitive, and solves a real problem. I use AI only where it genuinely improves the experience, and I've already shipped one AI-powered product to real users. Currently a final-year Computer Science student at the German-Jordanian University, on exchange at HTW Saarland, seeking a Pflichtpraktikum starting October 2026.

  • Focus: Android, Flutter, React, AI integration
  • Languages: Arabic (native), English (C1), German (B2)

About Me

Developer mindset with product ownership

Current status

Final-year Informatik student at German-Jordanian University, on exchange semester at HTW Saarland since March 2026. Three summers of industry experience shipping Android features and Python automation at GCESoft in Amman.

What I build

Mobile apps and web products end-to-end. LAZ Store (Tesla parts e-commerce Android app with AI photo identification), Life OS (Flutter life manager with a deterministic daily brief), and Uni-Plan (course planner with conflict detection and GPA prediction). Earlier experiments like wo2go and Brewit live in the lab, where I keep work in progress in the open.

How I work

I treat AI tools as tools, not buzzwords. I benchmark Claude, GPT-4, and Cursor against real tasks and keep what proves value. Same mindset for shipping: prototype fast, test with users, cut what doesn't earn its place.
