Hi, I am Zaid Jarrar.
I build mobile apps and web products end-to-end — Android with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, cross-platform with Flutter, and full-stack web with React and Next.js. I integrate LLMs only when they measurably improve a real user outcome, and I have shipped one such product (LAZ Store) to real users. Currently a final-year Informatik student on exchange at HTW Saarland, looking for a Pflichtpraktikum starting September 2026.

What I build
Mobile apps and web products end-to-end. LAZ Store (Tesla parts e-commerce Android app with AI photo identification), wo2go (Germany train reachability web app), Brewit (coffee recipe web app), and Life OS (Flutter life-management app) — each one shipped, not just demoed.
How I work
I treat AI tools as tools, not buzzwords. I benchmark Claude, GPT-4, and Cursor against real tasks and keep what proves value. Same mindset for shipping: prototype fast, test with users, cut what doesn't earn its place.
